What It Is

The StationMaster / Reverser is a self -contained, track side module that can automatically slow-down, pause, and then gracefully accelerate your trains up to speed. The reversing feature allows bi-direcctional operations. The StationMaster / Reverser can control trains up to 6 AMPS.

The StationMaster / Reverser is identical to the StationMaster with the addition of a DPDT relay for direction control. The input sensors can be programmed to behave like a standard StationMaster or a reversing StationMaster. The only feature missing from the standard StationMaster is the self-adjusting deceleration mode using the START and STOP sensors. The StationMaster / Reverser has adjustments for decelerate time, pause time, and accelerate time. This will give you the most realistic operations possible for any length of track.

What It Can Do

The StationMaster / Reverser is the brains for all of these hookups:

• Station Stops to gracefully slow down, pause, and then realistically accelerate your train up to speed.

• Two Trains on One Track using block control operations with gradual deceleration and acceleration.

• Point-To-Point Automatic Reversing with realistic decelerations and accelerations.

• Alternating Trains at a siding to run two trains on your railway

The StationMaster is designed for outdoor use if placed inside a Rubbermaid or similar container. This can easily be hidden under a rock, or inside a model building or station.

Features and Capabilities:

With the StationMaster, you can just hook up one DECEL sensor and stop at a station, or use the programming features to do some AMAZING things: (Please read the manual for additional information)

• Two color LED indicators show what the train is doing

• 8 AMP load capability.

• State-of-the-art MOSFET, micro-controller, and surface-mount technology.

• Full adjustments for DECELERATE, DELAY and ACCELERATE to accommodate any size railroad.

• Input protection for incorrect hookups.

• Voltage sensing shutdown circuit protects electronics from accidental damage.

• "Top Speed" adjustment available for fixed DC voltage sources.

• Programmable output signal. This is for automatic control of electric turnouts using a YardMaster, or triggering anything else. (Station sound effects, signal lights, X-10 modules, another StationMaster, etc.)

• Exact train stopping position so that every train can stop at exactly the same position.

• Enhanced station stop time delays can be from 5 seconds to 30 minutes, or triggered from an external switch. (doorbell? Hourly train clock?)

• "ACCEL" sensor allows easy block control.

• Programmable laps will allow up to 10 loops before decelerating
