Revesing loops allow
one train to travel through a center section and turn around using loops
on either end. This can be done using passive spring-return turnouts,
or powered turnouts. The spring-return hookup is show below. The hookup
for powered turouts is shown HERE.

| This track configuration allows one train to be run between two reversing loops. The turnouts can be spring-return or powered. |
|
In this track configuration, both of the loops are "hard wired" so that the train will always travel in the direction as shown by the arrows. The turnouts must be set in this direction also. Each of the two train sensors are placed somewhere in the loops so that the entire train is in the loop when the polarity of the center "return track" is reversed. |
