Alternating Two Trains in a Siding.

Description:

Two trains run alternately around the layout.
One of the trains will gracefully slow down and stop in one of the sidings. After a time delay, the other train will slowly accelerate and go around the layout.
This track configuration allows two trains to be run in a very realistic manner. Each of the trains will gracefully slow-down and pause. After a time delay, the other train will very gradually accelerate. Your actual track layout can be as big as you like. We have shown only the most basic track layout.

What you won't see: Since the StationMaster is used for graceful decelerations and accelerations, there will not be any radical JERKS on your trains... WE WON'T SPILL THE SOUP! (Or strip the gears!)


The StationMaster's self-adjusting deceleration is optimized for two different trains. A fast train will decelerate and stop at exactly the same place as a slow train without any adjustments at all!!
It just works!

  1. RRC-004 SwitchMaster track switch controller.................  Qty 1.

  2. RRC-001 StationMaster decelerator............................  Qty 1.

  3. LGB 10260 (or equiv.) track isolators (1 pkg. total).......... Qty 4.

  4. Manual turnout with spring return removed ...................  Qty 1.

  5. Electric turnout ............................................  Qty 1.
