Turnout Controller

What it is:

The RRC SwitchMaster is an electronic module that connects directly to electric track switches (turnouts) and will alternately throw the switch RIGHT or LEFT when trains pass over a sensor in the track.

This makes it very easy for trains to follow a different path every time around! ...Or have the first train go left, while the following train goes right!

The RRC SwitchMaster also contains a two-pole, double position latching switch contact (relay) that can be used in many different ways. When attached to a StationMaster, many advanced railroading operations are easily possible.

Features and Capabilities:

LED indicators show the state of the turnout.
4 possible triggering channels:
Alternate (2 independent channels),
Force Turnout Left,
Force Turnout Right.
Momentary outputs protect electric switches even when the trains park on top of sensors.
State-of-the-art surface-mount technology.
Automatic reset on power up for synchronization of turnout to relay.
Totally independent triggering channels allow trains to park on sensors.
Provides latching switch contacts (relay) that is synchronized with the turnout.
Contains drivers for lighting signal towers or signal lamps depending upon turnout position.
